Our monthly program at the Stone Ridge Library is designed for children with some familiarity with Portuguese who want to strengthen their language skills while exploring Brazilian culture. Through storytelling, music, and interactive play—all in Portuguese—kids can immerse themselves in the language in a fun and engaging way.

Each session features a Brazilian children’s book in Portuguese, bringing the language to life through captivating stories. We explore themes like Brazilian music, folklore, nature, indigenous traditions, and Afro-Brazilian heritage, helping children connect with Brazil’s rich cultural diversity while deepening their understanding of the language.
